Collagen keeps you young!

Collagens are the most important proteins in the body. These proteins primarily provide structure, cohesion, elasticity, and firmness for various connective tissues, including cartilage, bones, tendons, ligaments, and skin. There are more than 14 different types of collagen in the body. More than 90% of the collagen in the body consists of TYPE I collagen. The FITT products Collagen Drink, Whey Protein, and Good Shake contain hydrolyzed collagen that is identical to this TYPE I collagen.

The proteins originate from cow’s milk and fish, with the collagen from fish being the purest collagen and similar to that of human skin. These proteins are broken down into smaller pieces by enzymes (hydrolysis). These smaller pieces are amino acids that are identical to our body’s own collagen in terms of structure, digestibility, and absorbability. That’s why we use this type of collagen in our FITT products.

Active ingredients in FITT products

Because collagen already contains sufficient amino acids, we have chosen to use a very balanced mix of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in our FITT products, so that they’re ideally suited to the body and support it where necessary. The Good Shake contains 30% of the reference daily intake of vitamins and minerals. It is made up of 13 vitamins and 11 minerals. The Whey Shake and the Collagen Drink contain 20% of the daily intake and these 13 vitamins and 4 minerals. This carefully formulated blend of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and hydrolyzed collagen contributes to:

In addition to the active ingredients stated above, all FITT products contain 2 types of dietary fiber – acacia and the prebiotic fiber ‘inulin’. Inulin has no direct nutritional value but instead supports the existing intestinal flora. The fibers are fermented (converted) in the large intestine by the intestinal flora. The intestinal flora convert inulin into nutrients for the intestinal cells and thus improves digestion. Fibers also influence the release of glucose, which is important for the blood glucose level.

Furthermore, FITT does not use added sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors and flavorings.

The products are sweetened with Palatinose. Palatinose or isomaltulose, is a low-calorie sweetener. Isomaltulose occurs naturally in honey and sugarcane. The advantage of isomaltulose is that it is slowly absorbed into the blood and therefore provides the body with energy over a long period.
